The Kent Center has provided quality services to those in need since 1976, offering a variety of specialized services and programs.
The Kent Center participates in most insurance plans, and many of our services are covered in full or in part under contracts with Rhode Island Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental
Disabilities and Hospitals (formerly MHRH) and Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families. Individuals without insurance coverage may be eligible to pay for services at a reduced
rate based upon a sliding scale. For more information on any of our services, or to schedule an assessment, you may call our

You may also come in, without a scheduled appointment, during our Open Access times. It is important that you still call our cental intake line first
in order to learn what documentation you will need to bring with you. Open Access times are:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fridays 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
